About the event
TPK Brewing Co. will be partnering with Dark Horse Comics to celebrate the release of their new Dungeons & Dragons series: The Fallbacks!
This series marks The Fallbacks', stars of Jaleigh Johnson’s Dungeons and Dragons: The Fallback: Bound for Ruin, first comics appearance as brought to life by local comics legends Dark Horse.
TPK Creative Director Dana Ebert will be writing a special (non-canon) one-shot set in The Fallbacks sandbox of Faerûn to celebrate, also marking TPK's first foray into writing in an official D&D setting. This one-shot will run one night only from 6-10 PM on Saturday November 22nd, coinciding with the early release of Issue 2, and will feature special D&D giveaways directly from Dark Horse. Tables will be run by TPK Game Masters, overflowing the gaming area upstairs and filling the main pub akin to our campaign finales.
Tickets go on sale Friday 10/24 at 9 AM and each ticket is for one seat, although multiple can be purchased at once during checkout. This event is for players 16+, pre-generated characters will be provided, no prior experience is necessary, and we will be using the 2024 5th Edition ruleset.
Just like the comic, this event is perfect for fans of the Fallbacks and newcomers alike. Issue 1 is available now at your local comic shop for newcomers looking for backstory ahead of the one-shot as well!
