About the event
Join us Monday, 3/10, from 7-11 PM for a preview of the ENNIE-nominated Liminal Artifact's upcoming narrative-driven TTRPG Dreadnought!
TPK GMs Elliott, Kristina, Rowan, and Sage will be joining up with Alex and Nick from Liminal Artifact to run five tables of their debut ruleset, telling the grimdark story of a living chemical spill:
The tsunami washed over Port Rasema, leaving behind death, destruction, and an ancient demon-possessed submersible known as The Black Maw.
Now, the rusted hulk is mutating the survivors, twisting them into mindless husks that feed its bottomless hunger. Everyone will be like them or worse before long.
The heroes must kill The Black Maw or flee before it claims them too.
This will be Liminal Artifact's third publication and is the ruleset built to compliment their Exquisite Corpse narrative toolkit series. Dreadnought is just coming out of early playtesting and will be launching on Kickstarter soon. We're big fans of their world building and general design aesthetic (Liminal Artifact illustrated the Val'Ruvina cityscapes we have hung downstairs!), and are thrilled at the opportunity to run this release one-shot in our space. They'll also be bringing some fun giveaways for attendees!
Dreadnought is a rules-light game with no stats and easy-to-use mechanics that fit on a single sheet. It's designed to be about the characters and their story. The game rules are built to drive the narrative forward using an Apocalypse Engine with a dreadful twist. No preparation is required and all materials will be supplied by the GMs.
This is a game for players 18 or older. Each ticket is for one person, but you can purchase multiple tickets during checkout.
