After hearing rumors for several months, members of the Nightmark Network have confirmed that the Ashbringer is preparing to perform a ritual of her own design--one that may very well spell the end of the world. In order to stop her, the greatest living heroes in Val'Ruvina have been called together. The Nightmark Network has scouted the city of Dayspring and discovered a path through a hidden realm called the Beneath, which leads into the Sunlit Citadel. With mere hours remaining until the Ashbringer performs her ritual, the heroes must infiltrate the Sunlit Citadel, ascend to the highest floor, and face her for perhaps the last time. CR 16 Adventure for The Leyfarer's Chronicle. A Leyfarer character level 14-16 is required and this adventure does not scale; it has been updated from the published version in The Blooms That Feed on Fire to more closely align with characters created using the current version of The Leyfarer's Chronicle Campaign Player's Guide. Leyfarer characters over the level cap are welcome to de-level to the cap and still keep any earned rewards. If you do not have a Leyfarer character of the appropriate level, this adventure does include the playable pregenerated characters who canonically took on the Ashbringer Content Warnings: War, Difficult Combat, Likely TPK Author: Dana Ebert Rewards: One session of XP for characters under the current campaign maximum, magic items, adventure, and friendship!
